Come and enjoy breakfast whilst hearing from a panel of three businesspeople with diverse backgrounds as they share autobiographical stories of the difference that God makes in their business lives.

After originally training in underground coal mining, Mark went on to a long executive career, including five years as CEO of The Warehouse Group. He is now a Professional Director on the board of ASX and NZX listed businesses and private companies (including Stihl, MyFoodBag, JB Hifi) and not-for-profits, as well as an Executive mentor/coach. Mark came to faith through Alpha in 2003 and holds degrees in Theology and Christian Apologetics. He serves as a bi-vocational Associate Pastor at Whangaparaoa Baptist as part of a Team leadership Group, combining this role with his business roles in the marketplace. Mark is originally from South Wales in the UK. He has lived in Whangaparaoa for the last 23 years and has been married to Maria for 34 years.

Dave spent 12 years offshore working in banking before returning to New Zealand to manage Sequal Lumber, serving as its CEO. He has overseen the growth of Sequal from a small upstart player to a large and successful sawmill and export business. More recently he has become CEO of Trinity Lands, a business established for doing good in the community. Trinity are dairy farmers, kiwifruit growers, property investors and involved in forestry. Dave met his wife, Vicki, in their first year at university, and together they have three children.

Libby Caughey is a business owner, wife & mother, and woman of faith, whose journey weaves together commercial experience and deep personal resilience. After early roles in hotel business development and running her family’s fashion boutique, and stepping away from business for a season to focus on her family, she later found herself back in the business world leading a textile sample manufacturing company—a season she describes as “the crucible,” where her faith was deeply tested and strengthened. In 2020 she founded The Cosy Lab, a boutique, family‑owned Auckland business, handcrafting products designed to soothe both body and soul. Today, Libby shares her journey of faith, obedience, and perseverance, and how God walked with her through, challenge, and ultimately renewal.
